Hi Harsh, yes the summit has been made vehicle free in line with the historic and cultural sensitivity of the area also safety for those walking and sharing the road. However if your parents have their senior or disability cards with they can get access from the barrier . You will need to have these with you though and it may be possible to check with the park before you go to ensure that they will be accepted .The summit is well worth the walk up and one of the best free vantage points.
