Open and closed days of the various museums within the Residenz in 2017 are given at the website for the museum complex. Look for SKD, Feiertagen 2017. It appears that the Residenz itself open on Sunday, 24 December from 10 am to 2 pm. The Gemäldegalerie, however, is closed that Sunday, but will be open on Monday, Christmas Day.
