LAS VEGAS — A balanced effort on both ends of the floor and sharp offensive performances from Jordan Walsh and Charles Bassey powered the Boston Celtics to a 92-78 win over the Memphis Grizzlies in an NBA 2K26 Summer League battle at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas on Friday afternoon.

LAS VEGAS — The Celtics had a fresh face debuting on their Summer League team Friday night as Charles Bassey was an unexpected late addition to the team’s Summer League roster. The former Spurs big man shined off the bench for Boston, posting 14 points and 11 rebounds in the team’s win over the Grizzlies at Cox Pavilion.

Before they were "The Jays", Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown put on a show at the 2017 NBA Summer League as "7-11".

The Boston Celtics need to see what they have in Baylor Scheierman. Last season as a rookie out of Creighton, Scheierman was rarely needed. Boston had a deep perimeter rotation, so Scheierman mostly played in blowouts.
