There is a lot of money to be made by teams competing at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup across the USA this summer.
With a $1bn prize pot the Club World Cup has proved lucrative for those involved, but which club has profited the most?
The prize money on offer is not quite so life-changing for some of Europe’s elite, although no one is going to sniff at an extra eight-figure sum to call upon. PSG earned around $174.5 million for winning the Champions League and have amassed around a third of that tally by just reaching the quarterfinals.
Chelsea have already spent lavishly to the tune of more than £200million this summer, but the Blues will be glad to recoup some of that money through FIFA’s lucrative Club World Cup prize purse. How much exactly will they take home by the tournament’s end? Let’s find out.
