Lando Norris has held off a race-long challenge from his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri to win the Austrian Grand Prix and lift his Formula 1 title hopes.
Oscar Piastri has a genuine chance of winning his home grand prix this weekend, a feat not achieved by an Australian since the race was added to the Formula 1 world championship.
But Norris’ win in Monaco shifted the momentum and Piastri now leads by just three points, 161 to 158, with Verstappen their closest rival on 136.
