Police in Greece are searching for the killer of a University of California, Berkeley professor who was shot and killed on July 4 while visiting Athens to see his children and attend a family custody hearing.

A 43-year-old associate professor from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, Przemysław Jeziorski, was fatally shot in an Athens suburb, reports said.

A UC Berkley professor was gunned down outside his ex-wife’s home in Athens, Greece, amid a child custody battle, according to reports. Przemyslaw Jeziorski, 43, was shot five times in the chest and neck in a suburb of the Greek capital on 4 July, Polish news outlet TVP World reported.
