CHICAGO (WKBN) — The Cleveland Guardians reinstated first baseman Kyle Manzardo from the Family Medical Emergency List on Thursday. In a corresponding roster move, the Guardians have optioned outfielder Jhonkensy Noel to Triple-A Columbus.

A direct result of the numerous injuries that have thinned Houston's roster this season has been the steady stream of minor leaguers making their big league debuts for the Astros.

On Sunday's USA Today's Bob Nightengale reported that the Guardians could trade Carlos Santana, Lane Thomas and Emmanuel Clase.
