Tre Johnson, a top-ten pick by the Washington Wizards, scored 18 points in his summer league debut against the Phoenix Suns. In his only season at Texas, Johnson averaged 19.9 points per game and shot 39.7% from three-point range. Johnson is expected to be a key offensive player for the Wizards.

The Suns play the Washington Wizards on July 11, in the first of what will be five NBA Summer League games.
