BMW has added the world’s most powerful production six-cylinder diesel engine, the potent twin-turbo 3.0L six, to its SUV range with the introduction of the new X5 3.0sd.

BMW is working on a more powerful version of its X5 SUV powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine (same as in the X6). Official debut will be made next year at the Geneva motor show.

Over at the BMW stand, the automaker will be showing off its Vision EfficientDynamics Concept that’s packing a twin-turbo, 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel that’s mated to a hybrid motor.
