The GTA series is a power struggle from beginning to the end. Gang territories are often divided by the blood of fallen enemies. Anytime lines are crossed, it's a fight for survival.

This gang inspired The Grove Street Families, an in-game gang from GTA San Andreas. Active since 1969, Crips was associated with murders, robberies, and drug dealing, among other crimes.

GTA has a whole host of gangs; African-American, Afro-Caribbean, Asian-American, Caucasian, Eastern European, Hispanic, Italian-American gangs you name it, they re probably in the game.
