Cartoon Network has censored attempts by writers on its hit show Clarence to feature a full-on kiss between two gay characters and instead they simply kissed each other on the cheek.
Atlanta-based Cartoon Network almost aired the first lip-locked kiss on a child-oriented cartoon series between two men but instead, it was changed to a quick peck on the cheek.
A Cartoon Network voice actor said on Twitter that a scene on the animated series “Clarence” that featured two men kissing — apparently a first for the channel — had to be changed.
