MONONA, Wi. -- At the 14th annual Pour’n Yet Heart Out, dozens of iron casters showed the public their craft that dates back thousands of years.
Nanbu cast iron work dates back to the early Edo period (1603–1867), when the Nanbu lords of the Morioka domain recruited casters from Kyoto and Kōshū (modern Yamanashi Prefecture).
