Chinese antitrust regulators are investigating a US consortium’s deal for two ports in the Panama Canal zone, delaying the deal’s closing that was originally set for next week.

The incident occurred when the bund of the Sriramsagar Project (SRSP) D-4 canal breached near the Peechupally cross regulator, causing water to gush into the colony and submerge houses.
