I got a network switch off of ebay, and in order to configure and administrate it, i need to telnet in. On the switch it has what looks like a keyboard/mouse PS2 port, but it is 8 pins, and not 6 ...

I would have the RJ45 plug into the UPS, conected to 2 DB9 connectors plugged into the two machines. I want to be able to shut down both machines automaticly during a power outage.
