Ear mites are an uncomfortable nuisance for cats, and if left untreated, they can lead to infection or other health issues.

There is no reason to put the ivermectin cream in your dog's ears. It is a very effective treatment for ear mites, but if the issue were mites, your regular veterinarian would have let you know.
