“ Wicked’s ” Paul Tazewell has made Oscars history by becoming the first Black man to win for best costume design.

Tazewell has been nominated for nine Tonys for his work on Broadway, winning the Tony Award for his costume design for Hamilton. He also won an Emmy for The Wiz Live!
