Funerals for fallen officers include meaningful honors and rituals of respect and gratitude, from badges draped in black to an "end of watch" call.

A national non profit, Saving a Heroes Place, presented a handcrafted honor chair to remember Garrett Crumby. The chair will be seated in the West Precinct to honor Crumby’s memory. Built by his fellow officers, the chair stands as a lasting symbol of Officer Crumby’s presence, courage and service.
