Kendrick Lamar performed hits including “Not Like Us” at the Super Bowl LIX halftime show, joined by Mustard, SZA and Samuel L. Jackson as Uncle Sam.

Samuel L. Jackson surprised viewers as the first face to light up the Super Bowl 2025 halftime show, introducing himself as "your Uncle Sam" and issuing commands to the rebellious rapper.

He teased “Not Like Us” twice before finally performing the first verse of the track that concludes with the popular “A minorrrr!” line — a lyric heard and sung throughout the announced New Orleans crowd of 65,719 at Caesars Superdome. As expected, Lamar changed some of the lyrics for television, but the message was clear.
