WITH construction of the £193 million Library of Birmingham under way, people are now being given the chance to see what will go inside the controversial building.
The cross-party Library of Birmingham scrutiny committee highlighted the scaling down of floor space from 38,000 square metres to 31,000 in the latest proposals.
The circles around the library represent people joining together, a bit like the Olympics logo, as well as something of Birmingham’s industrial history and its jewellery making, too.
