The latest death was that of Indian journalist Fazil Khan, who died in a Harlem fire on Feb. 23 after a lithium-ion battery caught fire in a six-story apartment building.

If using a lithium-ion battery, follow the manufacturer’s instructions for charging and storage. Always use the manufacturer’s cord and power adapter made specifically for the device.
