Jimmy Koukourdelis has purchased the Metro Diner on Route 202-31 north and expanded the menu to offer an encyclopedic assortment of items in the Greek diner tradition.

The Metro Diner in East Brunswick is scheduled to open March 12 at 269 Route 18, the Florida-based company announced. The chain currently has nearly 70 restaurants in 14 states.
