Thousands of passengers and airport staff earlier endured sweltering heat inside NAIA Terminal 3 as the air conditioning system was turned off.

The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 air conditioning system returned to a "comfortable" temperature on Saturday following repair work on its malfunctioning unit.
