After nine months in space, NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams finally returned to Earth on Tuesday, March 18 — but now inquiring minds want to know, how much will they get paid for their extended stay at the International Space Station?

Upon immediately landing, there’s a risk of dizziness and nausea from the journey home - hence the stretchers Williams and Wilmore were placed on, as part of NASA protocol – which can take at least two or three days to settle, according to astronaut Tim Peake.

Because of faults with Boeing’s Starliner, Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore had to wait months for a ride back to Earth on a different spacecraft.
