Nintendo have confirmed that they will be bringing the metallic silver version of their DS handheld games console to North America.

The image released by Nintendo shows the DS Lite having a white body, versus the metallic silver colour of the original DS. Nintendo hasn't said whether this will be the default colour of the machine.
