Huawei doesn't advertise the sensor types used on the nova 9, but we discovered that they are using a high-end 50MP Sony IMX766 1/1.56" sensor with 1.0µm pixels behind the f/1.9 lens.

Huawei nova 9 SE. The 108 MP sensor lives in the main camera on the back, where it is joined by an 8 MP ultra wide camera (not that wide with a 112° FoV), a 2 MP macro cam and a 2 MP depth sensor.

The Hi Nova 9 SE could come with a quad-camera setup that includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth-of-field sensor.

The Huawei Nova 9 has a lot of tempting tech inside such as a 6.57-inch 1080 x 2340 OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, ... a 2MP f/2.4 macro one and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.
