Connecticut-based Topolino Technology recently unveiled its SPEEDrelease hub, which reportedly combines the best features of quick-release and thru-axle wheel mounting systems.

It features a safety mechanism which prevents folding unless desired by the user, and will fit to any existing wheelchair able to accommodate a wheel with a quick release axle.

Axle sliders are cheap crash protection, but they're a pain to install and remove. Not the case with these new sliders from T-Rex.

Once consumers watched an instructional video, they could request this replacement thru-bolt, an alternative quick-release axle, or a discount on other BOB products.
