The layoffs could affect about 10% of the company’s 3,050 employees at its Lehigh Valley Operations facility in Macungie.

Mack Trucks will eliminate up to 450 jobs at facilities in Pennsylvania and Maryland due to tariffs and economic uncertainty.

Mack Trucks plans to lay off up to 350 people over the next 90 days at its operations center in Lower Macungie Township, Pa.

In a statement, Mack Trucks said the layoffs are due to market uncertainty, possible regulatory changes, and the impact of tariffs.
