NASA's last-existing, built-for-flight space shuttle external tank briefly took to the sky, becoming part of the California Science Center's space shuttle Endeavour exhibit.

For the first time in 12 years, the stacking of a NASA space shuttle has begun. Parts of Endeavour's solid rocket boosters were moved into place at the California Science Center.
