Sprite will no longer use its recognizable green bottle, with Coca-Cola announcing its brands will switch to clear plastic that is better for recycling into new bottles.

Coca-Cola is changing the taste of Sprite as well as the packaging. It will be different for Original Sprite and Zero-Sugar Sprite.

Sprite is ditching its iconic green plastic bottle in favor of more sustainable clear bottles, its parent company, The Coca-Cola Company, announced Wednesday.

The SPRITE pod houses an ultra-light Logos Technologies RedKite WAMI sensor, a high-definition spotter camera, and commercial shortwave infrared hyperspectral sensor.
