Interstate 77 northbound was closed in Iredell County east of Statesville after a crash. It happened around 4:45 a.m.

Statesville City Council this week approved the first reading for the annexation and rezoning of 427.3 acres just off interstates 77 and 40 for a massive industrial project by NorthPoint Development.
