When you drain the water from the ponds in the southern portion of the Swamp in the Light World (you have to pull the switch in the Swamp Ruins), you'll see some sad fish flopping about in the mud.

The ruins in the picture are located on the easternmost peninsula on the map, where the swamp-like area is. The ruins have a Historical Site in the middle of them called the Seleucia-on-the-Tigris.
