The pair have met before, back in 2023, with Usyk stopping the British fighter in round nine. The three-belt champion is the favourite to win again to claim the undisputed title for a second time in 26 months.
Baumgardner entered Friday’s bout as a heavy favorite, but the previously undefeated Miranda (12-1, 1 KO) held her own while going the distance. Baumgardner secured the win after judges turned in scores of 98–92, 98–92, and 97–93.
