Utah firefighters are once again hitting the road to help fight fires — or, at least potential fires — out of state.

The Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands announced the departure of two task forces to Texas to assist with wildland firefighting efforts in the state.

Several of Utah's firefighters are on their way to Texas to help local agencies with "heightened fire activity" in the Lone Star state.

The two teams left for Texas on Wednesday on a severity assignment meant to bolster local firefighting resources.
