The Apple USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter lets you mirror your Mac display to a VGA-enabled projector, TV or display in up to 1080p HD. Thankfully there are cheaper third-party USB-C to VGA adapters.

It supports USB 3.1 Gen 1 for data… A 29W USB-C Power Adapter ($49) looks like the middle child between Apple’s 12W USB Power Adapters for iPads and the 40W adapters it sells for MacBook Airs.

With passthrough power and both HDMI and VGA, the Aukey Multiport USB-C Hub might be the best one for a road warrior.
