July 4 is cause for celebration around Major League Baseball, and all 30 teams are taking part with some brand-new hats for the occasion.

But not a snapback, flatbrim, or fitted. A dad hat is a baseball cap that's canvas or cotton and has a slightly curved brim (not too curved, though) and is probably a little oversized on the wearer.
