The pilot project will begin on September 15 with Zurich’s main train station. The offering will allow users to see the station, its levels and its shops in detail while using Google Maps.

Each day 350,000 people use Zurich's central train station. Zurich's new cross-city rail link is Switzerland's biggest urban project. Cross-city link could double the station's capacity.

There are other trains that travel between Zurich and Paris after 6 p.m., but all require several changes and increase the total trip time from the usual 4 ½-to-6 hours to 11-to-12 hours.
