Linesman Jonny Murray left in the third period of Wednesday's game against Winnipeg after briefly returning following a second-period collision with Avalanche defenseman Devon Toews.

Devon Toews scored with 37 seconds left in overtime, and the Colorado Avalanche rallied to beat the New York Rangers 3-2 in Denver on Tuesday night. Artturi Lehkonen and Parker Kelly also scored, Nathan MacKinnon had two assists and Mackenzie Blackwood made 27 saves for Colorado.

Linesman Jonny Murray was helped off the ice in the second period after taking a hit to the right leg from Colorado Avalanche defenseman Devon Toews, and he missed most of the remainder of the game. Murray resumed his duties at the start of the third period but left soon after and didn't return again as the Jets won 3-2 in overtime.
