On Sunday night the Jazz fielded a summer league squad that did not feature a single drafted rookie. No Ace Bailey, no Walter Clayton Jr., no John Tonje. Not even RJ Luis Jr., the undrafted rookie out of St. John’s, played for the Jazz.

The 2025 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas will take place from July 12 to July 22, hosted at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion. All 30 NBA teams will participate, making it a comprehensive showcase for rookies, young talent, and fringe players hoping to secure roster spots for the upcoming season.

Though shorthanded a few members, the Jazz will still have multiple names suiting up on Sunday worth keeping a close watch on–– three of which we'll be sorting through here with some eye-catching narratives to follow them after Utah now has four summer league games of action under their belt.
