MEMPHIS, Tennessee — This dog is really testing the limits of the phrase “Man’s best friend.” A man was asleep with his girlfriend when his dog, named Oreo, jumped onto the bed at about 4 a.m., causing a gun that also was in the bed to go off, wounding the man in the leg, reports say.
