The NHL has a mess on its hands on Monday with the hearings for Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid and Vancouver Canucks defenseman Tyler Myers. Both Myers and McDavid have hearings with the Department of Player Safety regarding incidents that occurred Saturday night late in the game involving the Canucks and Oilers.

The Edmonton Oilers will play the next three games without superstar captain Connor McDavid after the NHL suspended him for cross-checking Vancouver Canucks winger Conor Garland on Saturday.

Connor McDavid and Tyler Myers received match penalties for cross-checking in the dying seconds between the Oilers and Canucks. Both coaches were asked about the ending.
