The National Baseball Hall of Fame announced Tuesday that outfielder Carlos Beltran will have a New York Mets cap on his plaque when he is inducted this summer, while Andruw Jones will represent the Atlanta Braves and Jeff Kent will represent the San Francisco Giants.

According to Danny Abriano of SNY, Beltran will wear a Mets hat on his Hall of Fame plaque. He will join Mike Piazza and Tom Seaver as just the third inductee to wear a Mets cap on his Hall of Fame plaque.
In his fourth season on the ballot, former Mets All-Star outfielder Carlos Beltran earned his spot in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Out of slim cast of characters on the ballot, Carlos Beltran and Andruw Jones were the only players to survive joining the Hall Class of 2026.
