Police are investigating the recent theft of “high-value collectible items” from a local shop in Massachusetts, which cost the owners six figures.

A burglar used a hammer to smash open the door of a Massachusetts shop and stole rare Pokémon cards and vintage box sets, a store owner said.

Some $113,650 worth of rare Pokémon cards were stolen from 1st Edition Collectibles in New Bedford, Massachusetts in the middle of the night. Police responded to the 2:30 a.m. break-in after the thief used a hammer to break open the shop door.
