New moves in a years-long saga to create a train link to Northern Ireland’s biggest airport have been welcomed.

A £30 million contract to build the Queen’s University-led Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre in Co Antrim has been awarded to Co Derry construction firm Henry Brothers.

Several groups will gather on Thursday to conduct a risk-limiting audit of the Antrim County votes from the Nov. 3 presidential election.
