For example, 2016 Ford cars with SYNC 3 can run Android Auto if they are powered by version 2.0 or newer. If your car doesn't have a touchscreen, it can't run Android Auto.

Ford Sync was terrible 2008-2014, got much better with Sync 3 in 2015, and in 2020 Sync 4 will offer bigger screens and more use of onboard telematics. Lincoln should get Sync 4 as well.
