A man died Monday afternoon in Lake Michigan off the shore of U.S. Steel, Portage Fire Department chief Chris Crail told The Times.

Approximately 1,200 Ivy Tech Lake County graduates walked across the stage inside the Dean and Barbara White Community Center on Thursday.
