Troopers rescued several motorists in Saunders and Butler counties on Saturday after whiteout conditions on Nebraska 92 left them stranded for hours, according to a Nebraska State Patrol news release.

Weather permitting, work will begin July 21 on multiple bridges along Nebraska Highway 71 (N-71) in the Scottsbluff area, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

The Nebraska Department of Transportation has announced that, weather permitting, the railroad crossing project near Mead will begin at 6 a.m. Friday, July 29, on Nebraska Highway 92.
