Catholic Cemeteries of Long Island is looking to honor more of those who died in the attacks or from related illnesses.

According to tradition, a part of the Holy Cross was discovered by the mother of the emperor Constantine, St. Helen, on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem in 326.

A plaque displays the names of fallen soldiers honored during the 12th annual Tribute to Fallen Soldiers Northwest Memorial Torch Motorcycle Ride from Eugene, Ore., to Arlington National Cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Complete obituary will appear when complete.
