EAST CLEVELAND (WJW) — The city of East Cleveland has a new mayor. Lateek Shabazz, former council president, was sworn in Friday morning. He’ll take over for interim Mayor Sandra Morgan.

Shabazz is set to commit to a school on July 11th, with his top three schools being the Tennessee Volunteers, Ohio State Buckeyes, and the South Carolina Gamecocks.
