NBC is considering handing over its 10 p.m. primetime programming hour to local stations, Variety has confirmed.

With the NBA coming to primetime, NBC will now have two full nights of sports programming between the NBA on Tuesdays and NFL primetime games on Sunday, courtesy of Sunday Night Football.
