The Department of Energy selected a Menifee development as a pilot for building new energy-efficient homes. The project is one of 10 "Connected Communities," officially launched today, Nov. 2.

A new build-to-rent community with 303 homes recently debuted in Menifee. Located 28146 Cookhouse Lane, the homes come in 10 floor plans featuring an open concept in the living areas.
